Vihiga County in western Kenya is the most densely populated county in Kenya outside of Nairobi and Mombasa, with small but intensively farmed plots supporting tea, maize, and vegetable production. The county borders Kisumu to the south and Kakamega to the north. The county coat of arms is the official emblem of Vihiga County Government and is used on all formal correspondence and materials.
