How much does comic book and graphic novel printing cost in Kenya?
A printed comic book or graphic novel is a bound, full-colour book of illustrated story pages, and Print Lion prints them for comic artists, writers, schools, publishers and brands. The price depends on the size and the quantity, so send us both on WhatsApp for a quote. The minimum order is one comic book. Thin comics are saddle stitched and thicker graphic novels are perfect bound. Orders are ready in 1 to 2 days once the artwork is correct and approved. We deliver to all counties in Kenya, and you can also collect from our office.
Options & pricing
Saddle stitching
Perfect binding
Start with one copy
The minimum order is one comic book, so you can print a single proof copy of your story before you commit to a bigger run.
The right binding for your page count
Saddle stitching keeps thin comics neat and flat. Perfect binding gives a thicker graphic novel a proper spine.
Full-colour pages
Your artwork is printed in full colour, so your panels, covers and characters look the way you drew them. Colour can differ slightly from your screen, so ask for a physical sample if exact colour matters.
Ready in 1 to 2 days
Once your artwork is correct and approved, your order is ready in 1 to 2 days. That helps when you have a book launch, a school event or a comic fair coming up.
Delivery to all counties
We deliver to all counties in Kenya. You can also collect from our office in Nairobi.
What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
Send your artwork as a PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, or an AI or other vector file. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva and Google Docs links. Artwork should be at least 150 DPI at final print size. CMYK and RGB are both fine, though printed colour can look different from your screen. Allow a 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge, and keep text and graphics at least 10 mm inside the trim edge. Send files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send you a proof, and printing starts only after you approve it.
