What are document folders and how much do they cost in Kenya?
A document folder is a printed card folder that holds loose papers and documents while giving your business a professional look. Print Lion prints them on 250gsm to 350gsm card stock, die cut and finished with matte or gloss lamination, in the standard A4 size with one or two pockets and an optional business card slit. Prices run from Ksh 100 to Ksh 250 per folder depending on quantity and card stock, the minimum order is 10 folders, and they are ready in one to two days once artwork is correct and approved. Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya, or you can collect from our office.

How to prepare your artwork for printing
- Use an accepted file type Send PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, or AI and other vector files. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva and Google Docs links, as these are editing formats that do not hold fonts, colours and layout reliably.
- Set resolution and colour Artwork should be at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, but printed colour can look different from your screen, so ask for a sample first if exact colour matters.
- Add bleed and keep a safe area Allow 2mm of bleed beyond the trim edge and keep all text at least 10mm inside the trim edge.
- Supply or use a cutline You can supply your own cutline as a vector, editable file, or we can use our existing dies.
- Send and approve Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only print once you approve it.

You supply the artwork, we do not design the folder for you. If a file has a genuine problem we cannot fix in-house, we can point you to a professional designer.
