What are school magazines and how much do they cost to print in Kenya?
A school magazine is a printed publication that shares school news, photos and student work. Print Lion prints the pages and cover in full colour and binds them, with perfect binding, wire binding or saddle stitching to choose from. The price depends on the size and quantity, so send us your size and quantity and we will quote you. The minimum order is one magazine. Orders are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved, and we deliver to all counties in Kenya or you can collect from our office.
Three ways to bind your magazine
Choose perfect binding, wire binding or saddle stitching to suit your page count and how you want the magazine to look and open.
Full colour from cover to back page
Your photos of sports days, trips and prize giving, and your students' artwork, are printed in full colour on the pages and the cover.
Order as few or as many as you need
The minimum order is one magazine, so you can print a single copy to check it before you commit to a bigger run for the whole school.
Delivered to all counties
Delivery to all counties in Kenya is available, so a school in Kisumu or Nakuru is served just like one in Nairobi. You can also collect from our office on Moi Avenue.
You approve a proof first
We send a proof before anything is printed. Printing starts only after you approve it, so there are no surprises when the magazines arrive.
What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
We accept PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. We cannot accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva or Google Docs links. Images should be at least 150 DPI at final print size. CMYK and RGB are both fine, but printed colour can look different from your screen, so ask for a physical sample if exact colour matters to you. Allow a 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge, and keep text and graphics at least 10 mm inside the trim edge. Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We do not offer design services, but if your file has a problem we cannot fix, we can point you to a professional designer.
