What customers say about Print Lion
How to prepare your artwork for printing
- Set up your files Send the inside pages as one PDF in page order, printed in black and white. Send the cover as a separate file, printed in full colour.
- Use the right size and resolution Files should be A5 (148 x 210 mm) at a minimum of 150 DPI at final print size. CMYK and RGB are both fine for the cover, but printed colour can differ from your screen, so ask for a physical sample if exact colour matters.
- Mind the bleed and safe area Allow 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge, and keep text and logos at least 10 mm inside the trim edge so nothing gets cut off.
- Send your files and approve the proof Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send you a proof, and printing starts only once you approve it.
Getting your artwork ready
You supply a print-ready file. We do not offer design services, but if your file has a problem we cannot fix, we can point you to a professional designer. Accepted file types are PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva and Google Docs links, because these are editing formats and do not reliably hold fonts, colours or layout once opened elsewhere.
