Tana River County in the coastal hinterland takes its name from the Tana River, Kenya’s longest river, which flows from the Mount Kenya watershed through the county and into the Indian Ocean near Kipini. The county is known for the Tana River National Primate Reserve and the endangered Tana River red colobus and crested mangabey. The county coat of arms is the official emblem of Tana River County Government. This vector PDF reproduces at full quality at any size.
