What are wire bound books and how much do they cost in Kenya?
A wire bound book is a printed book with a metal wire running through holes along the edge of the pages, so it opens flat or folds back on itself. Print Lion prints the pages and cover and binds them for you, with a minimum order of one book. The price depends on the size and quantity, so you send your size and quantity and we give you a quote. Orders are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved. Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya, or you can collect from our office at Tumaini House, Moi Avenue, Nairobi.
Opens flat and folds back
The wire runs through holes along the edge, so pages lie flat on a desk or fold back on themselves. That makes workbooks, recipe books and training manuals easy to use while you write or work.
Low minimum order
You can order from one book, so you can print a single sample before committing to a full class set or office run.
Printed and bound together
We print the pages and the cover and bind them for you, so you deal with one print shop from file to finished book.
Ready in 1 to 2 days
Once your artwork is correct and approved, orders are ready in 1 to 2 days. Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya, or you can collect from our office.
What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
Send print-ready artwork. We accept PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. We cannot accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva or Google Docs links. Files should be at least 150 DPI at final print size. CMYK and RGB are both fine, but printed colour can look different from your screen, so ask for a physical sample if exact colour matters. Add a 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge and keep text and graphics at least 10 mm inside the trim edge. We always send a proof, and printing starts only after you approve it. Turnaround depends on your artwork being correct and approved promptly.
