What is an art and sketch journal and how do I order one in Kenya?
An art and sketch journal is a journal for drawing, sketching and keeping your art ideas in one place. Print Lion designs the inside pages in-house, so the interior is not an afterthought to the cover, and you can supply your own interior pages if you prefer. Branding can be added too. The minimum order is one journal, and the price depends on the size and quantity you choose, so send your details for a quote. Orders are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved. Delivery to all counties in Kenya is available, or you can collect from our office on Moi Avenue in Nairobi.
Inside pages designed in-house
The interior is not an afterthought to the cover. We design the inside pages ourselves, so the whole journal works for drawing and sketching, not just the front.
Make it your own
Prefer your own layout? Supply your interior pages and we print them. You can also add branding to the journal for a school, group or studio.
Quick turnaround
Your journals are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved, so you are not left waiting.
Order one or many
The minimum order is a single journal, so you can start small or order in bulk for a class or art group.
What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
Send print-ready artwork as a PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, or AI or other vector file. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva and Google Docs links, because these are editing formats that do not hold fonts, colours and layout reliably. Keep artwork at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, though printed colour can look different from your screen, so ask for a sample if exact colour matters. Allow a 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge, and keep text and graphics at least 10 mm inside the trim edge. Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only start printing once you approve it.
