What are food labels and how much do they cost in Kenya?
Food labels are stickers you put on food packs, jars and tubs to show the product name, weight, ingredients, batch number, expiry date and your branding. Print Lion prints them in sheets, in any size and shape, on either normal sticker paper or waterproof material that is also oil proof. Pricing is per A3 sheet, Ksh 70 for normal sticker and Ksh 150 for waterproof. Finishes include lamination, foiling or UV varnish depending on what you need. Order today and your labels are ready tomorrow once the artwork is correct and approved. Delivery to all counties in Kenya is available, and you can also collect from our Nairobi office.
Professional printing
Your product name, ingredients, batch number and branding come out clean and sharp, so your jars and tubs look ready for the shelf.
Waterproof and oil proof option
Choose waterproof material that also handles oil, so labels on sauce bottles, honey jars and greasy food packs stay neat and readable.
Quick turnaround
Order today and your labels are ready tomorrow, once your artwork is correct and approved. Good for small food businesses working to a deadline.
Any size and shape
Round, square or a custom cut shape, printed to fit your exact jar, tub or pack.
What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
Send print-ready artwork as PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, or AI or another vector file. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva or Google Docs links, as these do not reliably hold fonts, colours and layout for printing. Keep artwork at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, though printed colour can look a little different from your screen. If exact colour matters, ask us for a physical sample first. Add 2 mm of bleed beyond the trim edge, and keep text and graphics at least 3 mm inside the trim edge. For a custom shape, include the cutline in your artwork. Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only start printing once you approve it.
