What are asset tags and how much do they cost in Kenya?
An asset tag is an identification tag that fixes onto physical equipment such as furniture, computers and tools, so a company can track, manage and audit its inventory. Each tag carries a number, barcode or QR code, and can include your company branding and logo. Print Lion prints asset tags on anodized aluminium using sublimation printing, available in silver, gold or white, and they attach with glue or double-sided tape. This makes them more rugged and longer lasting than paper asset labels. Pricing is Ksh 50 per piece with a minimum order of 50 pieces, so Ksh 2,500 for the smallest order. Common sizes are 39 x 13 mm and 20 x 50 mm, with custom sizes made to your own specification. Tags are ready in two days once your artwork is correct and approved. Delivery to all counties in Kenya is available, and you can also collect from the Print Lion office on Moi Avenue, Nairobi.

What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
Send your artwork as a PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, or AI or other vector file. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva or Google Docs links, as artwork. Your list of numbers, barcodes and QR codes is separate and should come as an Excel data sheet, which we do accept. Keep files at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, though printed colour can look different from what you see on screen. Allow 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge and keep text and codes at least 3 mm from the edge. Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only print once you approve it.
