What is a requisition book and how much does it cost in Kenya?
A requisition book is a booklet your staff use to request items, materials or money from a store or from management. The request is written once and the copies pass to the people who approve and issue it. Print Lion prints these as No Carbon Required (NCR) books, so writing on the top sheet copies through to the sheets below with no carbon paper needed. Each book is glued at the top, fitted with a back board, and includes serial numbering and perforation. Choose A4, A5, A6 or A7, duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate parts, and 25, 50 or 100 sets per book, in single or full colour. As an example, 10 A5 triplicate books with 50 sets each cost Ksh 5,250. The minimum order is 1 book for A4, 2 for A5, 4 for A6 and 8 for A7. Books are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved. Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya, and you can also collect from our Nairobi office.
Serial numbering and perforation included
Every order comes serial numbered and perforated, so each request is easy to track and each copy tears out cleanly. You do not pay extra for these, they are part of the price.
No carbon paper needed
These are NCR books, so writing on the top sheet copies straight through to the sheets below. The person requesting, the approver and the store each get a clean copy from one write-up.

Getting your artwork ready
Supply print-ready, high-resolution files. Accepted formats are PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher files and Canva or Google Docs links are not accepted. Files should be at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, though printed colour can look different from your screen. Allow 2 mm of bleed beyond the trim edge and keep text at least 10 mm from the trim edge. You can design it yourself or with AI tools, but note that we print the file as supplied and do not type, edit or typeset forms. Send your files by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only print after you approve it.

Yes. You can supply your own design, including one made with AI tools, as long as the file is print-ready and high resolution. We print the file as supplied and do not type, edit or typeset forms.
How do I get my books?
You can collect from the Print Lion office on Moi Avenue in Nairobi, or we can deliver. Delivery to all counties in Kenya is available.
