What is a purchase order book and how much does it cost in Kenya?
A purchase order book is a book you use to order goods or services from a supplier. You keep a copy to track what you ordered and what has arrived, while the supplier gets their own copy. Print Lion prints No Carbon Required (NCR) books, so writing on the top sheet copies straight through to the sheets below. Every book is glued at the top with a back board, and serial numbering and perforation are included on every order. They come in A4, A5, A6 and A7, as duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate, with 25, 50 or 100 sets per book, in single colour or full colour. Price depends on size, parts, sets and quantity. For example, 10 A5 triplicate books with 50 sets each cost Ksh 5,250. The minimum order is 1 book for A4, 2 for A5, 4 for A6 and 8 for A7. Books are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved. Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya, or you can collect from our Nairobi office.

No carbon paper needed
These are NCR books, so writing on the top sheet copies straight through to the sheets below. No messy carbon paper, just a clean copy for your supplier and copies for your own records.
Numbered and perforated as standard
Serial numbering and perforation come with every order, not as paid extras. That means each order has its own number for tracking, and copies tear out cleanly.
Built around how you buy
Pick the size, the number of parts and the sets per book that match how your business orders. Hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, contractors and wholesalers all use these to authorise and track their purchases.
Professional printing, quick turnaround
Your books are printed in single or full colour and ready in 1 to 2 days once artwork is approved. Send us your own design, even one made with AI tools, and we print it for you.
What customers say about Print Lion
Getting your artwork ready
Supply a print-ready, high-resolution file. We print forms exactly as supplied, so we do not type, edit or typeset them for you. You can design your own file, including with AI tools, as long as it is print ready. Accepted files are PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. We do not accept Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Publisher files, or Canva and Google Docs links. Keep files at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, though printed colour can look different from what you see on screen. Allow 2 mm bleed beyond the trim edge and keep text at least 10 mm inside the trim edge. Send your artwork by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only start printing once you approve it.
