What is a quotation book and how much does it cost in Kenya?
A quotation book is a No Carbon Required (NCR) book you use to give a client an official, written price for goods or work before it starts. The client keeps one copy and you keep the other, and because the paper is NCR, writing on the top sheet copies through to the sheets below without any carbon paper. Print Lion prints them in A4, A5, A6 and A7, in single colour or full colour, with serial numbering and perforation included on every order. As an example, ten A5 duplicate books with 50 sets each cost Ksh 4,000. The minimum order is one book for A4, two for A5, four for A6 and eight for A7. Books are ready in one to two days once your artwork is correct and approved. Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya, and you can also collect from our Nairobi office.

Getting your artwork ready
You can design the file yourself, including with AI tools, but it must be print ready and high resolution. Print Lion prints the file as supplied and does not type, edit or typeset forms. Accepted files are PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher files, and Canva or Google Docs links are not accepted. Keep artwork at least 150 DPI at final print size. Both CMYK and RGB are fine, though printed colour can look different from what you see on screen, so ask for a sample if exact colour matters. Allow 2 mm of bleed beyond the trim edge and keep text at least 10 mm from the trim edge. Send your file by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof and only start printing once you approve it.

Delivery is available to all counties in Kenya. You can also collect your books from the Print Lion office in Nairobi.
