What is a work order book and how much does it cost in Kenya?
A work order book is a job form used to give and record instructions for a piece of work, showing what needs doing, who will do it, and the parts and labour used. Print Lion’s work order books are No Carbon Required (NCR), so writing on the top sheet copies straight through to the sheets below with no carbon paper needed. Every book is glued at the top with a back board, and serial numbering and perforation are included on every order. Prices depend on size, number of parts, sets per book and quantity, for example 10 A5 triplicate books with 50 sets each cost Ksh 5,250. The minimum order is 1 book for A4, 2 for A5, 4 for A6 and 8 for A7. Books come in A4, A5, A6 and A7, in duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate, with 25, 50 or 100 sets per book, in single colour or full colour. They are ready in 1 to 2 days once your artwork is correct and approved, with delivery to all counties in Kenya or collection from the office.

Getting your artwork ready
Your file is printed exactly as supplied. Print Lion does not type, edit or typeset forms, so artwork must be print ready and high resolution. Accepted files are PDF, high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, PSD, and AI or other vector files. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher files, and Canva or Google Docs links, are not accepted. Keep artwork at least 150 DPI at final print size. CMYK and RGB are both fine, though printed colour can look different from your screen. Allow 2 mm of bleed beyond the trim edge and keep text at least 10 mm inside the trim edge. Send your file by email, WhatsApp or a shareable link. We send a proof before printing, and printing starts only once you approve it.
